In my opinion, if it wasnt fo the BC announcement, Gamescon would be a better show than E3... ScaleBund + Quantum Break + Crackdown 3 + Many others ( hopefully ReCore)...

Can't wait, the show isnt over yet... At least for us... poor ponies...

How I imagine this game: some kind of "open world sky battle dragon", where you fight with your dragons against another, almost like a pokemon thing.
as in the sky, clouds, lightnings, rain and the sun would make everything more challenger. open and destructible scenarios with a high amount of interactive objects (like trees, rocks, etc..)

        thats it! :cool::cool:

Agree ... Seems Gamescom will be very good show
most of the titles are 2016, so it is supposed to be DX12 games

          Beside Halo, or GeoW
i am very much like Recore and Scaleboud

Recore seems like X1 version of ICO

I'm actually this will follow the likes of Witcher 3 but obviously with Dragons as your ride.

RPG elements, open world and I like the sound of sky fights, sounds original and fun!

If it is a mix of The Witcher and Panzer Dragoon, it will be great.

i do hope if there is RPG element
make it more easy like Mass Effect
i hated to remember all kind of combination that usually found in RPG game
plus i do hope this game has some exploration element,

If you are referring to Mass Effect 1 then I 100% agree. I've never been a fan of crafting mechanics in RPGs as well.

i do hope there is some story, like the dragon when it is still very young and small and not powerfull
then they become friend or something like that .....
we need more a game that has some emotional element on it

Don't forget that this game is being made by Hideki Kamiya and Platinum Games, their games aren't that focused on emotional element, i think this game will be an Action/RPG or a Hack 'n' Slash.

The game with intense emotions will be Quantum Break.

I think RECORE will have this emotional element to it. Looking at the trailer for Scalebound it looks more of full action game.

Gamescom 2015: Scalebound Release Window, 4-Player Co-op Announced

Scalebound will launch exclusively on Xbox One in Holiday 2016.

The news was announced during today's Microsoft Press Conference at Gamescom 2015, along with the news the upcoming title will feature 4-player co-op gameplayer. It wasn't specified whether this would be online-only or if there would be any opportunity for split-screen gameplay.

Other news announced including the main character's name - it's Drew - and that the world in which you're adventuring will be called Draconis, with an opening area taking place somewhere called the Grasslands. With all this in mind, it's hardly surprisingly Platinum is branding it its biggest game to date.

Don't forget we're set to have an extended version of the demo available straight after the conference on IGN, and we'll be covering Scalebound all this month as part of IGN First, so be sure to bookmark our hub for all the latest news as it's announced.

I don't think it will have cloud, but I think It will use dedicated servers for the 4 co-op multiplayer.

I can't say I was impressed to be completely honest. The dragon looked like a gimmick to cover up a modern version of Golden Axe. It didn't seem particulary ground-breaking like I hoped it would be.

It's supposed to be a really open game and if that's the case the dragon may be used to fly to locations and on sky battles. Let's see more to call it a gimmick.

Wow, this just became my most anticipated game. Looks awesome. Action oriented rpgs are my favorite game type. Hopefully there will be matchmaking for co-op.

Yes, this and Gears 4. I love also Souls games, can't wait either for Dark Souls 3.
I bought PS4 for Bloodborne, but the mp is broken. I was really disappointed with Bloodborne and PSN.
Scalebound will be perfect in Xbox, live and dedicated servers.

I like how this game is a mash up of Monster Hunter and Xenoblade. It looks like it's gonna have the combat of Monster Hunter and its gonna be open world like Xenoblade all of that with Platinum Games twist on it.

"Scalebound isn't just a hack n' slash; it's a full-blown action RPG with an inventory, loot, non-linear exploration, NPC cities, weapon durability, currency, in-game economies and more."
Gamescom 2015 attendees were treated to a developer walk-through of Scalebound, complete with a look at some of the game's in-development RPG features. Scalebound is one to watch.

The only bad part about this game is the release date.

                                From SonyGaf:
"Saw the gameplay demo played live at gamescom today. The presentation during the conference didn't do it justice. It looked smooth and awesome. Dragon customisation seems very deep and levelling your dragon seems fun! When drew uses the lance/spear his attacks are much faster than with the sword and it seems you can rack up some nice combos. Seems kamiya to use a slower weapon (hammer was his favourite combo weapon from w101 iirc), but faster weapons seem more fun.

Went to see the horizon demo after the scalebound one. Scalebound kicked it's butt in epic huge monster fighting and fun and intense gameplay.

Will buy xbone just for this game.'
"Gamespot is saying it was smooth behind closed doors as well. I wonder what happened. Maybe an older but more stable build was played onstage? '

luizcont It could have been an older build shown but ppl shouldn't complain about a game that has framerate issues when its in pre-alpha and more than a year away.

It's a Platinum game. A stable fps is the second thing that you think about their games the first one being great gameplay. Don't know why people are complaining about it.

Scalebound director, Hideki Kamiya, said that the game will offer a longer gameplay experience than Bayonetta and Okami, which had a “shorter cycle.” He also stated that they will fill the game with fun and interesting side-quests, which will keep you coming for more."
“Bayonetta can be seen as a shorter cycle game – you may want to go back and hone your skills a bit more, or you might be so satisfied that you’ve completed it that that can be the end of it, same goes for a game like Okami. Now, with Scalebound, because the world is so large, my hope is that [players won’t just] go from beginning to end and that’s it. There are so many [side-quests] that we’re going to be sprinkling throughout this vast world that I hope you’ll go back to dungeons and pick up items that weren’t available to you at that time, and want to clear it in a different way.”
